Who we are
Hackonomics 2025 is a US based 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on promoting financial literacy and understanding of economic principles through projects that merge computer science and economics. Our goal is to make a positive impact on our community through hosting hackathons, which will accept code submissions that promote this learning. We have had over 1500 participants from 70+ countries be part of our current and past hackathons. Our latest approach to spreading knowledge on economics and financial literacy is through our high school level based curriculum development. Our curriculum internship has recently finished, and we are looking for interns to help spread the word on it!

About the job

In this position, you'll use our resources and email templates to contact 50 school districts in your area and let them know about our free curriculum associated with our nonprofit. Our documentation has been streamlined so it is just emailing since the curriculum is already done, and replies will be forwarded to our own team members to work on. There will be no other tasks associated with this internship, and you'll receive credit for all the school districts you recruit.

About our curriculum

Our curriculum consists of 5 units, each having an accompanying video, test, and infographic. Each unit also has several modules, these each have quizzes. Our curriculum has also been fact-checked by industry experts at institutions such as Berkeley & Harvard.

— High-school Student or recent graduate
— Fluency with Google sheets
— Professional emailing skills
